This course is designed for management and key staff members. It covers all the same topics as the General Fire Safety Training Course but includes the additional responsibilities and duties to be carried out by Fire Wardens in the workplace in the event of a Fire Emergency.
Course Content:
- Fire Safety Awareness Course
Legal responsibilities/duties under the Safety, Health and Welfare Work Act 2005 and the 1981/2003 Fire Services Act
- Fire Warden Course/Managers Course
The duties of a Fire Warden
- Fire Training in Care Facilities
Chemistry of Fire (Fire Triangle)
- Evacuation Procedures/Fire Drills
Action to be taken in the event of Fire/Emergency – Calling and assisting the Emergency Services
- First Aid Course – AED and CPR
Fire Safety Equipment and Live Fire Demonstration
Occupational First Aid. FETAC Level 5
